Backer RodBACKER ROD: This is a CLOSED CELL ROUND ROD that is used to fill cracks (checks) in logs and gaps between logs before filling them with a type of sealant. The rod comes in a continuous roll or a box and comes in sizes from 1/4 inch up to 4 inches in width.
